Twice a year the Society publishes its News Bulletin, and issues since June 2003 are available online in PDF format.
This is the Society's learned journal, first published in 1822. It covers all aspects of the history of North-East England, ranging from archaeology (including excavation reports) and buildings to historical and documentary research, and from prehistory to the present.
The Proceedings of the Society of Antiquaries of Newcastle upon Tyne (PSAN) began in 1855 as a printed record of the monthly meetings of the Society, and also of its excursions (called 'country meetings'). A digitised copy of PSAN available to members via Dropbox as a temporary home. Follow this link for more details
