Twenty pounds to be paid as followeth vizt five pounds yearly
& every year paid at midsumer next after ye abovesd six
years are Expired untill ye sd sum of twenty pounds be paid
but & if peradventure Either ye sd Nicholas Lee Elizabeth Lee
or William Lee or any of them shall die before ye sd sumes
becomes due, that then ye five pound which is each of their
share when it becomes due, shall be given to ye sd John Lee
Item I give & bequeath to Margaret Lee daughter of my
brother Nicholas Lee deceased ye sum of Twenty pounds to
be paid her when she cames to ye age of one & twenty years &
ten pounds more which I am indebted to her ye sd Margaret Lee
Item I give & bequeath unto my nephew Mathew Lee son to
my sd brother Nicholas Lee deceased ye sum of twenty pound
to be paid him ye sd Mathew Lee when he shall come to ye age
of one & twenty years & ten pounds more which I owe him
ye Mathew Lee, but & if peradventure that Either she ye sd
Margaret Lee or he ye sd Mathew Lee shall dye before they
come to age to recieve ye sd sums that then ten pounds part
of ye sd sums shall be given to Ann Lee daughter of my
brother John Lee & ye remainder of ye Legacie shall be given
to ye survivor or longer liver of her ye sd Margaret Lee or him
ye sd Mathew Lee Lastly I make my brother John Lee my
Sole Executor of this my last will & Testament In
Witness whereof I have hereunto set to my hand & seal

in ye Thirteenth year of ye raigne of our Soveraigne Lord William
ye third by ye grace of God of England Scotland France and
Ireland King Defend of faith &c Annoq Dmi 1700 Although
sick & weak in body yet of perfect & diposeing memory praise
therefore be given to Almighty God for ye same doe make &
ordain this my Last Will & Testament in manner & form
following (that is to say) First I comend my soul into ye hands
of Almighty God hopeing assuredly through ye merits of Jesus
Christ my Saviour to be made pertaker of Everlasting life
& my body to be buried in ye parish Church of Allendale & for ye
settleing of my personal Estate & such goods chattels and Debts as it
hath pleased God to bestow upon me I doe order give & dispose of
