Page 67, Will, Samuel Kell, 10 June 1701, p2; Will, Christopher Stevenson, 1 January 1703

aforesaid Yeoman and John Lee of ye same Tayler be Trustees to see
that this my last Will & Testament be well truley and honestly pformed
according to the intent and meaning thereof And that whereas I have
by surrender at Hexham Court surrendered to my sonn Wm Kell
certaine Lands in Wall aforesaid with a Provisoe therein contained
that the Yearly sume of Tenn pounds be payd to him for ye Tearm
of six Years immediately after my decease my Mind and Will is that
ye said John Lee and Wm Lee doe Yearly receive the said sume of
Tenn pounds for ye use and in trust for my said sonn William Kell
and thereof to dispose to his best advantage and ye same soe by the
them received to pay over to my said sonn or his Assignes at one whole
and intire payment or such securityes as they have received for
ye same within ye space of Tenn Weekes next after the End and
Expiration of the said Tearm of six Years as abovesaid Item I doe
hereby appoint my sonn John Kell to be so my sole Executor
of this my last Will and Testament and doe revoake and disanull all former
and other Wills by me at any time heretofore made and doe declare this
to be my only sole last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have
hereunto sett my hand & seale the Tenth day of June In the
Thirteenth Yeare of ye Reigne of our Sovaigne Lord William ye
Third by ye Grace of God of England Scotland France and Ireland
King Defender of ye Faith &c Annoq Dni 1701 – Signed sealed
published and declared by the said Samuel Kell to be his last Will
and Testament in the presence of Edward Kell Matthew Lee

In the Name of God Amen I Christopher Stevenson
of A[?]ton* in ye parish of Allendaile and County of Northumbland
being sick & Weak in body but of good & perfect memory praise
be God for it doe here make my last Will & Testament in
manner and forme following – First I bequeath my soule
unto y Almighty God hopeing through ye meritorious Death
& passion of Jesus Christ to receive free pardon of all my sins
and my body to ye ground to be decently buried at ye discretion
of my Executor First I give unto my Son Thomas Stevenson
Tenn Shillings Item I give unto my Son Henry Tenn Shillings
Item I give unto my Daughter Margarett Stevenson 20 pounds
of that Morgalidge* Att Westgate in Weardaile as it can be
goten & also A Bed of Close* Item I give unto my Daughter Anne
Stevenson 20 pounds of ye same Morgaidge as aforesaid Item I give
unto my son John Stevenson 40 pound of ye same Morgaidg as
aforesaid Item I give unto my wife Elizabeth ye remainder of
ye morgaidge aforesaid Item I give unto my wife Elizabeth & my
son John & my Daughter Ann after my Debts and Legacyes discharged
All ye rest of my Goods & Chattels moveable & unmoveable to be
equally divided among them Last of all my wife Executor
