This is ye true Inventory of ye Goods & Chattells}
of Richard Gibson late of Hexham deceased seen }
Apprized by us as Witnesse our hands }

In the Name of God Amen the seaventeenth Day of
March in ye Twelfth Year of ye Reigne of our Sovaigne Lord
William ye third by ye Grace of God of England Scotland France
& Ireland King Defender of ye Faith &c I Robert Booteland
of Hexham in ye County of Northumberland Cordwainer being
sick and weak of Body but of sound & perfect memory praised
be God for it doe make and Ordaine this my last Will & Testamt
in manner & form following revokeing & hereby annulling all
former & other Wills & Testaments by me made either by word
or writeing And First I Recomend &c my soule into ye hands of
Allmighty God my Creat hopeing assuredly through ye meritts
death & passion of Jesus Christ my saviour & Redeemer to
obtaine full pardon & remission of all my sinns & to inheritt
eternall life and my Body I give to ye earth to be buried in
such decent and Christian manner as by my Executrix here
after named shall be thought fitt & convenient and as for
such worldly Estate as it hath pleased Almighty God to bestow
upon me I give and despose thereof as followeth Item I give
devise and bequeath unto Leonard Oliver of Hexham aforesd
Butcher his heires and Assignes for ever All that my
Burgage* or stonehouse with ye Apps scituate* standing &
being in Hexham aforesaid & boundering on ye Burgage of
Richard Pepper on ye East and ye Burgage belonging to
widdow
Dorothy Lambert on ye West in a certaine street there
called ye Hall style head to ye intent & purpose that the sd
Leonard Oliver his heires & Ass shall sell & despose of the
same & ye money ariseing upon sale of ye said house to be despos’d
of for and towards the payment of all such Debts as I am
oweing to any person or persons whatsoever upon Bonds
or other specialties and ye over plus money that shall be due
upon the sale of my said house after ye payment of my
debts aforesaid I give and bequeath unto my loveing wife
