Page 7, Will, William Errington, 21 January 1695

In the name of God Amen The One & Twentyeth day of
January in the Year of our Lord God One Thousand Six Hundred Ninety &
Five: I William Errington of Hexham in ye County of Northumbland
Yeom, being sick & weak of Body But of sound pfect & disposeing Mind
& memory praise be to Almighty God for ye Same Do make & ordeine
this my last Will & Testamt in manner & form following (that is to say): First
I bequeath my Soul into ye hands of Almighty God My Creator hopeing
through the Meritts death & passion of my onely Saviour & Redeemer Jesus
Christ to Obteine full pardon & free Remission of all my Sins & Offences
& to Inheritt Everlasting life, And my body to be Buryed in Such
decent & Christian manner as by my Executrix hereafter menconed shall
be thought fitt & convenient And as for my Wordly Estate I dispose
thereof as followeth: Imps I give devise & bequeath unto my Dear
& loving Wife Margt Errington her Exs Adms & Assignes: All my
Messuages houses Tenements closes & grounds lyeing & being in Fowerstones
in the County of Northumberland wch I hold by Lease; And alsoe
all my Estate right title & Interest of in & to the same by any
ways or meanes howsoever: To have & to hold the said Messuages
lands & pmisses with ye apptnces unto ye said Margt Errington my said
Wife her Exs Adms & Assignes unto ye full End & term & for & during
Such term & terms of yeares as I may might would should or ought
to hold & Enjoy the said lands & pmisses by force & Vertue of any
Lease Contract & Agreement whatsoever to ye onely Use benefitt & behoofe
of my said Wife Margt Errington & my Three Children Ann Errington
Elizabeth Errington & Margt Errington & the Survivor & Survivors of
of* them & every of them; And all the rest of my Goods & Chattells
moveable & immoveable Real & Personall whatsoever I give and
bequeath to my said Wife Margt Errington whom I do hereby
appoint full & sole Executrix of this my last Will & Testament
And I doe hereby Desire & Request my Loveing Br Richard
Lambert to be Ayding & Assisting to my said Wife in ye Pformance
of this my said Will And to advise & direct her in ye managemt
of her Affaires & the bringing up of my Children wholy Relyeing
& Confideing in my said Brother & in his integrity & honesty
in giving Councell & Advise to my said Wife In Witnesse
whereof I have hereunto sett my hand & Seale the day & year
