Page 6, Will, John Bell (of Wester Fynney), 9 March 1694

In the name of God Amen I John Bell of
Wester Fynney hill in the County of Northumberland & Parish
of Allandaile being Sick & weak in body, but Pfect in my memory
& Undstanding blessed be God Doe make & ordeine this my
last Will & Testamt in manner & form following: First
I bequeath my Soul into ye hands of my heavenly father
hopeing by his gracious mercy & ye precious merritts of his onely
Son & my onely Saviour Christ Jesus that he will receive it
into his heavenly Kingdome, and my body to be burryed in
ye Church or Church Yard of Allandaile; As for my w[???]
worldly Substance which God hath been pleased[?] blessed me with
I give & dispose of it as hereafter is menconed: First I give
unto my Sister Frances Dawson of ye City of Carlisle as a
Legacy of my love Twenty Shillings & to her daughter
five Shillings: Item I give unto my Sister Ann Bell five
Shillings Yearly to be payd her during her nrall life at
ye feast of Pentecost: Item I give unto my Kinswoman
Mary Rooklish five Shillings: Item I give unto Matthew
Davison who is now Apprentice to Peter Ritson ye Sume
of Twenty Shillings to be payd him when he comes loose
out of his time to help to sett him up in his Trade
Item I leave to ye sd Mathew Davison Twenty Shillings
more to be payd him five Yeares after my Decease: Item
I give unto Jane Davison & Ann Davison Daughters of
Thomas Davison of ye Moorhouses One Cupboard to have
it after my Wifes Decease: Item I give unto Wm Davison
& Thomas Davison Sons of Thomas Davison abovesaid
either of them Tenn Shillings: Item I give unto Mary
Davison Daughter of ye above named Thomas Davison the
Sume of Thirteen Shillings & fower pence: Item I give unto
Jane Robson Tenn Shillings as a Legacie & Tenn Shillings more
to be payd her which I am oweing her: Lastly I give and
bequeath unto my Dear & loving Wife Jane Bell whom
I make my full & Sole Executrix of this my last Will
& Testament: I give unto her the said Jane: All that
Mortgage of Fynney hill assigned me by Hugh Sheild of
Humber Stedd: And alsoe I give unto her all my goods
moveable & unmoveable she paying these Legacies above
menconed my debts & funeral Expenses: And this I
make my last Will & Testament, and In Witnesse hereof
I hereunto Sett my hand & Seale this Ninth day of March
