The picture features the front cover of a slightly worn pamphlet called 'Holiday Guide for Wooler: Northumberland's National Park and Antiquarians Paradise'. It features cup and ring marks from Gled Law, Wooler on the cover and cost 4d. The date of publication is known, but will be revealed in the lecture.

Nick is the Engagement Officer for Hadrian’s Wall Wetlands Landscape Recovery at Northumberland National Park and is responsible for writing the Stakeholder Engagement and Access plans for the project. He has a PhD from Northumbria University in the late 20th  and early 21st century history of Northumberland National Park with a focus on policy and practice. Nick is a director of Allen Valleys Community Arts and an organiser of Allen Valleys Folk Festival.
