Sir I was favor'd with yours this day in Answer to which the Minister of our Parish is incapable of doeing any business. His Curate is very ill and does not live in the Parish If youll send the money pr Bearer and take His Receipt for so much money for my use I will give you a Proper Receipt when I see you at Morpeth on Wednesday I am sorry I am obliged to go from Home on Tuesday otherwise would have been glad of your company to Dinner when you might have given me the money I am sorry to trouble you but shall be obliged to you for the Names of the Persons and the amount of their Losses as I forgot to mark them in my List The three farmers, ?Neil, Hargrave, Thomson and Morpeths are in very great distress, for they have lost every thing they had I am Sir your Humble Sert Bywell Janry 12 1772 Wm Fenwick 13th Janry Received of Mr Ra Heron one hundred and twenty two pounds sixteen shillings and three pence half penny paid by him to me pursuant to the above Letter Witness Hen Boyd Junior George Green
