The State of the Damages at Wylam Colliery by the late great Flood between the 16th. & 17th. Of Novr. Last 1771 --- The Whole Colliery Workings were fill'd with Water amounting to 300 Acres, containing 1,728,000 Hogshds of Water in the several Seams of Coal; The Expences attending the drawing of the said Water, and the damages done in the several Pitts and Workings Underground, must be very considerable and cannot at present be ascertain'd.
