T:Pe: } In the Name of God Amen I Peter Thirlewall of
Thirlewall} Mollersteeds* in ye County of Northumberland Yeom being
sick & weak of body but of sound & perfect memory (praised be God
for it) Doe make & ordaine this my last Will & Testamt in mann
& forme followeing Revokeing & hereby annulling all former &
other Wills & Testamts by me made either by word or writeing
And first I comend my soule into ye hands of almighty God
my Creator hopeing assuredly through ye merits death and
passion of Jesus Christ my Saviour & Redeemer to obtaine
full & free pardon of all my sinns & to inherit eternall life
And my body I give to ye earth from whence it came to be
buried in such decent and Christian manner as by my
Exec hereafter named shall be thought meet & convenient
And as for such worldly Estate as it hath pleased Almighty
God to bestow upon me I give & Dispose thereof as
followeth; Item I give, Devise & bequeath unto my
loveing Wife Elianor for and Dureing her nrall life
the moiety or one halfe of all my Lands & Grounds in
Mollersteads aforesd She my sd Wife giveing free
liberty and Licence unto my eldest Sone John Thirlewall
att any time after my Decease to enter in to Fell cut Downe
Stack Perch* & carry away all ye Wood & Bark now growing
upon ye premises or any part thereof; Item I give and
bequeath unto my Daughter Jane Thirlewall the
sume of Forty pounds of lawfull English money to
be paid her ye Twelfth day of December in ye yeare
of our Lord 1704: by my sd Sone John Thirlewall
out of my Estate att Mollersteeds aforesd for her filiall
porcon: Item I give, Legate and bequeath unto my
Sone Robert Thirlewall the sume of Forty pounds of
lawfull English money to be paid him the Twelfth
Day of December in ye yeare of our Lord 1706:
by my sd Sone John Thirlewall out of my Estate att
Mollersteeds aforesd Item I give, Legate and bequeath
unto my Sone Peter Thirlewall the sume of Forty
