Page 47, Will, Edward Robson, 28 February 1698/9

In the name of God Amen I Edward Robson of Ninebancks in
the County of Northumberland yeom ye Twenty Eighth Day of February
in the Eleaventh Year of ye Reigne of our Sovaigne Lord William ye
the* third by ye Grace of God of England Scotland France & Ireland
King Defender of ye Faith &c Annoqz Dni 1698 although sick and
weak in Body yet good sound perfect & desposeing memory praise there
-fore be to Almighty God Do make and ordaine this my last Will &
Testament in manner & form following (yt is to say) First I
Commend my soule into ye hands of Almighty God hopeing assuredly
through ye meritts of Jesus Christ my Saviour to be made partaker
of everlasting life, and my Body I commend to ye earth to be decently
interrd at ye discrecon of my Executrix hereafter named And for
ye setling of my personall Estate and such Goods chattells & Debts
as it hath pleased God to bestow upon me, I doe Order give & despose
of ye same ? in manner & forme following (yt is to say) First I will
that all those just Debts that I owe to any manner of person or
persons, be well & truely discharged & paid wthin convenient time
after my decease by my Executrix hereafter named Item I give
& bequeath unto my son Robert Robson ye sume of Forty Shillings
to be paid him within six months after my decease in full of
all his Interest & claime, to any of my goods or personall Estate
Item I give & bequeath unto my sone George Robson ye sume
of one Hundred & Twenty pounds to be paid him when he shall
arrive at ye full Age of Twenty Seaven Years Item my Will &
pleasure is and I Doe by this my last Will & Testament Order and
appoint my Executrix hereafter named, that she shall wthin
Twelve months after my Death, put out ye sume of Fifty pounds
into ye hands of such substantiall persons as my Daughter Anne
wife of William Carr of Hexham shall think fitt to intrust
it with And that my said Executrix shall in her own name
take such security for ye payment thereof with lawfull
Consideracon for ye same as my said Daughter Anne shall approve
of and as my said Executrix shall from time to time receive ye
Interest thereof, she shall forthwith pay ye same to her ye sd
Anne and wn at any time ye said Anne shall have a desire to have
ye said Fifty pounds intirely at her own disposal, upon notice
thereof given under her hand in writeing to my Executrix she
my said Executrix shall call it in, and so soon as she shall
receive it shall pay ye same to my said Daughter Anne or to
whom she shall assigne it. Item I give and bequeath to my
Daughter Elizabeth Robson the sume of one Hundred and
Twenty pounds to be paid her wthin Twelve months after
my decease Item I give & bequeath unto my Daughter
Susanna wife of John Wills of Durham ye sume of Five
pounds to be likewise paid within one Year after my
decease Item I give and bequeath to my Cozen Elizabeth
Atkinson wife of John Atkinson of Harwood and to her
Sonne John Cooper to each ye sume of Twenty Shillings to
be paid within Twelve months after my death Item I
give & bequeath to my Cozens John & George Reed Sons of
Grace
