May ye 31 6 1699
I Alexander Williamston of Hayraicke within ye parish of Allendale
and County of Northumberland being sick in Body but of good & perfect
remembrance praised be God for ye same Doe make this my last Will
and Testament in manner & forme following First I bequeath
my soule to Allmighty God my maker & Redeemer Item I Give
unto my Four Daughters (to witt) Ruth Mary Sarah & Hannah
ye sume of Twenty pounds to be payd out of reall Estate by my
son Thomas Williamston when he comes to ye full Age of
Twenty one Years & to be equally Divided amongst ye sd Four
and if it should please God to call upon any of ye said Daughters
it shall be equally Divided amongst ye rest Item I Give unto
my Dear wife Ann Williamston & to my Four Daughters above
said all my personall Estate moveable & immoveable Except
such Aireloums as did anciently belong to ye house and to be
equally Divided amongst ym after my Debts & Funerall
Expences be Discharged Item I leave my Dear wife Anne
Williamston to be Tutor & Guardian of my Children above
named and failing her I Give & bequeath ye Tuition of my
said Children abovenamed unto my Well beloved & Trusted
Friends John Hutchinson of Greendicke & Hugh Watson of
Studdon within ye parish & County aforesaid Item I leave my
loveing wife Anne Williamston to be Executrix of this my last
Will In Witnesse whereof I have hereunto sett my hand &
seale ye Day & Year first above written Sealed Signed and
Delivered in ye psence of us John Williamston Hugh Hutchinson
