Eleaven pounds wch Jane Huggip is oweing me my Will is & I Doe hereby Order
& appoint yt my sd sone Edward Taite shall pay Unto my sd Daughter Elizabeth
Stephenson one shilling at a time as her necessity requires untill Forty
shillings of ye sd sume of Eleaven pounds be payd Item I give unto my Daught
Sarah Smith one broad Jacobus* peice of Gold as a legacy Item I give unto my
Daughter Jane Johnson one broad Carolus* peice of Gold as a legacy Item I

pople* Item I give unto John Hetherington the sume of Twenty shillings
to be payd by my Executs wthin Three months after my Death Item I give &
bequeath unto my Daughter Alice Parkers Three Children the summe of
Thirty shillings equally to be Divided amongst them as soon as conveniently

sonn Joseph all my part share & Terme of Years yt I have of & in ye Mills
called Hexham Tyne Mills to be equally Divided betwixt them Item
all ye rest of my goods & Chattells moveable & immoveable reall & psonall
I give & bequeath unto my sd loveing wife Ellenor & my sonn Joseph
wo I Doe hereby constitute & appoint joynt Executs of this my sd Will
[shall make & execute such releases to my sonns Joseph & Edward as in this my*
sd Will is limitted & directed, but if it shall happen my sd wife shall refuse &c]
upon Condicon neverthelesse yt my sd wife shall refuse to make & execute
such Releases as aforesd wthin one month after my Death or before my
Will be proved according to Due forme of Law if she be thereunto
requested Then I Doe hereby constitute & appoint my sd sonn Joseph
Taite Sole Execut of this my sd Will hereby revoking & makeing voyd
all other Wills by me formerly made In Witnesse whereof I have to
this my sd last Will & Testament sett my hand & seale the Day & Year
first above written Signed Sealed published & Declared by the
abovenamed John Taite to be his last Will & Testament in ye psence

In the Name of God Amen I Christopher Simpson of the Lee in
the County of Northumbland Fuller being sick in Body but of good and
perfect memory praised be Almighty God Doe make & ordaine this my
last Will & Testamt the Tenth Day of March Anno Dni 1696 in mann
& form following Imps I give & bequeath my soule into the hands of
Almighty God my Creat in sure & certaine hope of Eternall life through
the meritts & passion of Jesus Christ my Redeemer Item I give
and bequeath unto Mary Farbridge my Grandchild ye sume of Tenn
pounds to be payd unto her at Mayday next Item I give & bequeath
unto Elizabeth Farbridge ye like sume of Tenn pounds to be payd
unto her at or upon Michaelmas Day* next Item I give & bequeath
unto Jane Farbridge ye like sume of Tenn pounds to be payd
unto her at or upon Martinmas Day* next Item I give & bequeath
unto Robert Stokoe the sume of Forty shillings to be payd unto

Bonds & Debts Due & oweing to me with full power to sue & recover

and her ye sd Dorothy Simpson & Christopher Simpson I Doe appoint
Executs of this my last Will & Testamt & to pay all ye Legacys before
