| Northumbland Tanner, being sick & weak in body but of sound & pfect memory (praised be | ||||
| God for it) Do make this my last Will & testamt in manner & form following : First | ||||
| I comitt my Soul into ye hands of Almighty God my Creator hoping assuredly through | ||||
| the Meritts death & passion of Jesus Christ my Redeemer to Obteine Eternall life & my | ||||
| body to ye Earth to be burryd in decent & christian manner by my Exs hereafter | ||||
| named, & for such Wordly* Estate as it hath pleased Almighty God to bestow upon me | ||||
| I Dispose thereof as followeth : Item I give legate & bequeath Unto my Eldest | ||||
| Daughter Jane Johnston ye Sume of thirty pounds of lawfull English money | ||||
| to be payd by my Exs hereafter named within Six months next after my | ||||
| decease : Item I give Legate & bequeath Unto my Younger daughters Elizabeth | ||||
| Johnston & Elenor Johnston & to each of them ye Sume of thirty pounds | ||||
| of lawfull English money to be likewise payd by my Exs hereafter named | ||||
| wthin Six months next after my decease : Which said three Legacies amount | ||||
| to in all ye Sume of Ninety pounds, being for their filiall porcons | ||||
| And my Will further is, that if any One of my said Daughters shall | ||||
| happen to dye before they attaine ye Age of 21:Yeares or be Marryed | ||||
| that then such Legacie so hereby by me left to ye pty so dyeing shall | ||||
| accrew & go to my Other two daughters Surviveing : Butt if two of my sd | ||||
| Daughters shall so dye as aforesaid, then my Will is that ye Moyety* or | ||||
| half of their Legacies so left by me as aforesaid shall go to my daughter | ||||
| so Surviveing, & ye Other Moyety* or halfe shall goe to my Exs hereafter | ||||
| named : Item I give & bequeath unto my loving wife Isabell Johnston | ||||
