Page 8, Will, William Teasdaile, 24 November 1695; Will, Jane Bell, 4 June 1696

In the name of God Amen I: William Teasdaile of Woufe*
-Clough in West Allandaile in the County of Northumberland being Sick in body
yett in Pfect sound remembrance praised be God Do putt this my last Will in
writeing the Twenty Fourth day of November in the Seaventh Year of
William the third, & in ye Year of o Lord God 1695: Revoking all
former Wills whatsoever: First I give my Soul to Almighty God my Creator
& to Jesus Christ my Redeemer by whose meritts I hope to have Remission
of all my Sins & my body to be buryed in my parish Church Yard of Allandaile
Town by ye directons of my friends: Item I give to John Teasdaile Nine pounds
Item I give to Wm Teasdale Six Gimmers*: Item I give to my Mother
One Cow One Quy*: Item I give to John Stouts Son & Christopher Stouts
daughter either of them One Sheep Hogg*: Item All ye remainder
of my Goods & Chattells moveable & immoveable I give unto my Brother
Anthony Teasdaile whom I Do make Executor of this my last Will
& Testament as Witness my hand ye day abovesaid: Signed &
Delivered In ye Psence of Thomas Pattison.

I Jane Bell of Fynney hill in ye parish of Allandaile & County of Northumbland
Widdow: being sick in body but of good & pfect memory thanks be to Almighty God
Do make constitute ordeine & declare this my last will & Testament in manner & form
following, Revoking & annulling by these psents all & every Testament & Testaments
Will & Wills heretofore by me made & Declared either by word or writeing
And first being penitent & Sorry for my Sins past, humbly desireing forgivenesse
for the same, I give & comitt my Soul unto Almighty God my Saviour &
Redeemer in whom & by the meritts of Jesus Christ I trust & believe assuredly to
be saved & to have full remission & forgivenesse of all my Sins & my Body
to be Buryed in such place where it shall please my Exs hereafter named
to appoint. And Now for ye settleing Of such Goods & Chattells as it hath
pleased God to bestow upon me First I give & bequeath unto Jane Martin
my Brothers Daughter Ten Shillings: Item I give unto my Sisters daughter
Ann Maugham Ten Shillings: Item to Mary Sheild One bed & five
Shillings in money: Item to Jane Benson five Shillings: Item I
give Unto Mary Rutledge One Coat: Item I give unto Marg Rutledge
My every day Cloths: Item I give unto Jane Robson This Bedstead
which I now lye in with all Cloths thereunto belonging: Item
To my Br John & Daughter Jane Robson (My joynt Exs) I give
& bequeath My Mortgage of Fynney hill with all ye residue
of my goods & Chattells moveable & imoveable whatsoever
