6. Handfulls of French Barley For Purging
that has been boiled tender in
Milk, Butter a Dish, and put
it in, and Bake it. It must
as
Stand Long as a Venison Pastry,
and it will be Good.
A Water to Strenthen the Sight
Rosemary Flowers*
Sage
Betony
Rue
& Succory, of Each a Handfull.
Infuse these into two Quarts
of Sack, and Distill them
in a Alembick*-
The Dose is a Spoonfull
in the Morning Fasting –
till the Water is Done
