When Mr Errington applied to me he
said he did not desire or expect any Advantage
from the Contract – he instructed me to
build the Bridge in as substantial a way
as it could be done & added if it cost
him some Hundreds more he should not
mind it, & that the Advantages to which
he looked were only such as might
arise from the Contiguity of the Bridge
to his Estate
Were not the public at large within
a certain Distance of the Town of Hexham
to be equally benefited with Mr
Errington?
I apprehend the making of
the Road to join the Turnpike Road
which cost some hundreds made
that Bridge as benificent to
