same Effects- & that therefore whenever
the same Combination of Circumstances
should concur the same Effects would
follow from the same Causes – the same
if then known
Circumstances that would have deterred
one from attempting at first would
operate as powerfully now to deter me
from it now – & would be strengthened
by the Experiment of the late Accident
