Sandoe 19th Feby 1783
Dear Sir,
I have your Favor of the 15th relative to an
Association for prosecuting Stealers of Lead. I can without
hesitation answer that on Mr Errington’s Part you may rely
upon his proportional Contribution for the Purposes mentioned
in the Papers.- Your other Enquiries I will answer
at Meeting, but having a Letter by Yesterday’s Post
from Mr Errington, directing my being in London before
the 26th the Day his Petition stands for hearing, and also
saying he had requested the Favor of your Attendance
likewise at the same Time; I send my Son with this (as
I probably could not hear from you soon enough by the Post)
to settle with you the Time of our setting forward; I suppose
Friday or Saturday will be the latest, as probably it will
be proper to be there a Day at least before the Business is
begun. I shall be glad of your answer, and will
wait upon you accordingly.- I am, Dear Sir,
Your obedt hble Servt
Jn Donkin
